Using these name servers, the reverse DNS FQDN resolved to two IP addresses. Both IP addresses belonged to Cloudflare’s edge network, which hides the actual host of—in this case—the malicious content. Although reverse DNS domains aren’t supposed to work like this, the threat actors found a way to make it happen.
